Buzzplay.com has been asked to find 24 of the best unsigned artists for a new, revolutionary, internationally distributed music and video label.
Five of these artists will be showcasing at the South By Southwest Music conference in Austin Texas come March 2007.

ALL AGES SHOW. IT IS A 5 SONG SET. TOP 7 OF THE SHOW WILL COME TO FT. LAUDERDALE TO THE HARD ROCK LIVE AND BE ON THE TV SHOW ROCKING IDOL. TOP 7 OF THE SERIES SPLIT 25K.

Particulars for the 25k series as well as the Orlando Show.

This is a 25,000 dollar battle. If you win the series the top 7 split the 25k. There are 6 cities participating. You get a max of 100 points from judges judging you on:

Material
Originality
Showmanship
Technical Aspects of Music

That is how you will place in your individual city. Total 100 points. You get another 100 points (max) for bringing in the most people in the series. You get 97 for bringing in the second highest amount and so on with the deductions of 3. You will find out your total score after the last 25k battle in LA on Oct 15th. The top 7 in each city will be invited to be on the network TV show Rocking Idol which is filmed at the Hard Rock Live on Oct 22, 2006. (Ft. Lauderdale, Florida) You find out how you placed in your city the day after your show.

BTW, the battles are judged by Warner and IE Records (the label behind the show). My last grand battle winner signed a 6 figure deal with Warner. So promote your show well and perform with enthusiasm.

More info: The show is all ages, admission is 15 dollars. Band members pay nothing. The first band goes on at noon the last at midnight. 35 minutes to set up, play 5 songs and breakdown. I have an amazing sound guy that will help you in any way possible. Bands you bring ALL of your own instruments and amps. We provide the PA Mics, and Mic stands.

A ceremony honoring the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks was held at Ground Zero. Our hearts are with you.
