Mission Statement:
"To invest in our future and elevate our financial well-being"
Under Florida state law, a child must be 5 years old on or before September 1st to enter kindergarten. To enter 1st grade, a child must be 6 years old on or before September 1st and must have attended kindergarten. Each school has a designated attendance area, and your family address will determine which school a student will attend. You may go to the school your child will be attending any time to register him or her for school. If you are new to the area, you are encouraged to register your child as soon as possible. Also, previous school records and report cards help schools place students.
To register any child for the first time in any Florida school, you will need the following list of items:
- Proof of age - Certified Birth Certificate
- Medical Record - Florida Immunization on a HRS Form 680
- School Physical Examination - First time enrolled in a Florida school. A physical within the last 12 month, prior to the first day of school, would be acceptable
